What is on your heart?

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

2 Corinthians 9:7 (KJV)

People often ask about giving.  There are several reasons for giving and we want to help you with this important subject.

This Scripture shows us we can give as we purpose in our own hearts.  It is probably why people give most of the time.  It is best described as giving what is on your heart.

For example, we have all been in situations where we knew someone was having a bad day.  When we looked at them something inside got stirred up.  We want to reach out to them and show them we care.  We will say something like "It was on my heart to come over and check on you" when we speak to them.
