Unexpected Seeds for Unexpected Needs

Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness.

2 Corinthians 9:5 (KJV)

There is another reason for giving that has to do with being prepared for the future.  It makes sure you are prepared even when you don’t know what is in your future.

How many times has the Holy Spirit shown you to sow a seed that you didn’t plan to give?  You weren’t praying about sowing seed and nobody presented a need to you.
